Overview

Crowded Igloo provides CRM and operational software designed for businesses working in trades, facilities management, engineering, and manufacturing. Their platform is built to help companies attract the right customers, manage jobs efficiently, and support long-term growth.

However, despite having a powerful product, their website was struggling to clearly communicate what the business actually offered. This lack of clarity was also affecting their visibility in search engines, making it difficult for potential customers to discover them online.

The Situation

When I first reviewed the website, it became clear that the messaging and structure weren’t helping visitors quickly understand the value of the platform.

The website contained a large amount of text and technical information, but it lacked a clear narrative explaining how the product helps businesses grow. This made it difficult for both potential customers and search engines to understand the purpose of the site.

As a result, the company’s SEO visibility was extremely limited because Google could not easily interpret the core service offering.

Key Challenges

During the review, I identified several issues that were limiting both clarity and search visibility:

  • Website content was overly text-heavy and difficult to navigate

  • No clear customer journey guiding visitors through the platform

  • Weak SEO foundations meant search engines struggled to understand the site

  • Limited proof of impact or outcomes for customers

  • Use of stock photography that didn’t emotionally connect with visitors

Approach

The goal wasn’t simply to change a few pieces of content. It was to help the business clearly articulate the value of their platform and how it supports customers through each stage of growth.

During our sessions, I focused on:

  • Reviewing the website structure and overall customer journey

  • Conducting an SEO analysis to identify visibility gaps

  • Refining the core messaging so the value of the platform was clearer

  • Providing recommendations for improving content structure and user flow

  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen SEO foundations and keyword alignment

The goal was not simply to adjust the website content, but to help the business clearly articulate the problem they solve and how their platform supports customers through each stage of growth.

Outcome

Following the strategy work, the business was able to significantly improve how their website communicates the value of their platform.

Key improvements included:

  • A clearer website structure that better guides visitors through the platform

  • Stronger messaging that explains the business offering more effectively

  • Improved SEO foundations to help search engines understand the site

  • Greater clarity around how their software supports business growth

As a result, the company gained increased confidence in their digital presence and began seeing stronger engagement from potential customers.
